These rate packages are just a starting point and I’m more than willing to discuss your needs and goals, including negotiable pay-what-you-can rates and 30 minute mini-sessions for graduating seniors and those who would really like photos, but understandably can’t justify the cost. Life has become incredibly expensive these days and I get it. We all need to make ends meet — and I am willing to discuss adjustments or different pricing and terms. FAQ & Policies
How do your photo sessions work?
After contacting me, we can go over what theme or shoot you’re looking for, locations you might have in mind, and determine any special outfit or prop ideas. Once the contract is signed, on the agreed upon shoot day we’ll meet at the location and do a quick set up and strategy discussion. Then we’ll jump right in and start creating! It’s easy, casual and fun. Lastly, if there’s time we’ll go through shots in-camera. Later when sending over a preview gallery, you can select some of your favorites and I will work on editing our collective selects and deliver them if the final payment was completed.
Do you have any requirements to shoot?
Sort of. Primarily, just be yourself! Unless we’re creating an abstract artistic concept, capturing you in your true form is what I hope to achieve. Secondly, I do prefer to shoot with people 18 and over, however if you aren’t you will have to provide signed parental consent and be accompanied by either a parent or guardian over 18 during the shoot.
Do you charge for all of your shoots or do you collaborate?
For the most part, yes, but I am willing to take part in limited collaborations when time permits. Not everything in life should cost money. If you have an idea in mind and it’s something that I’m also looking to add to my portfolio, or if you’re interested in creating something that I’m currently creating, I am more than happy to collaborate (minus a refundable deposit or specific travel expenses if required, for example excessive tolls or gas).
Do all shoots require a deposit?
Yes, due to frequent last minute cancellations, I have started to require an initial down payment/deposit after we schedule a shoot. If I have to cancel and we’re unsure about when to reschedule, I will return your deposit if requested. For collaborations, I will return it during the shoot.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I am based in Union County New Jersey and shoot mostly within an hour distance, but am happy to travel farther depending on availability and project goals.
Can I bring a friend to a shoot?
Absolutely, you’re more than welcome to bring someone along to help out as needed. Preferably not a romantic partner or significant other, friends are usually best at helping out. For minors/those under 18 a legal guardian should be present.
How will I receive my photos?
I will send you a gallery link (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc) within at most 3 weeks, typically much less, it really depends on how busy the season is. After receiving payment, you’re welcome to download and use them as you wish.
What payment do you accept?
PayPal, CashApp, Venmo and/or cash for the final payment in person. If you have anything else in mind, please let me know in advance. Meals, high fives, hugs, a gold bar? Maybe!!
How many pictures will I get?
It depends on the package selected, but I can accommodate special requests of course.
